Texas Sheet Cake

This recipe is sooo good. It is a recipe from my great-grandmother. 
It is one of my favorite desserts! Hope you Enjoy!!




Cook for 20 minutes at 400 degrees

Texas Sheet Cake:
Sift 2 cups of sugar and 2 cups of flour
Mix in a sauce pan:
2 sticks margarine, 4 tablespoons cocoa, 1 cup water. 
Bring to a boil. Pour over flour/ sugar mixture and stir.
Add: 
1/2 cup buttermilk
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon vanilla
Mix well. Bake in greased 11x16 pan.

Icing:
Bring to boil:
1 stick margarine
6 tablespoons milk
4 tablespoons cocoa
Remove from heat and add:
3 3/4 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla

Pour on cake while hot.
